The British Hospitalité Trust
What Is The British Hospitalité Trust?
- The British Hospitalité Trust (BHT) was founded in 1988 to further the work of the
Hospitalité Notre Dame de Lourdes (HNDL) and other work associated with Lourdes.
It does this by:
- Collecting en masse the compulsory annual subscriptions of British members of HNDL.
These “cotisations” are then paid to HNDL, who are also informed who has paid them
and to which branch they belong.
- Reclaiming from the Government any tax paid (under the Gift Aid scheme), and using
this money reclaimed for Lourdes-related work. This may be Hospitalité projects,
providing equipment for pilgrims or Hospitaliers, or funding pilgrims to Lourdes.
